Pfizer Canada Inc., which is the distributor of the EpiPen® devices in Canada that are used to treat anaphylactic reactions announced a recall on their product. The recall is specific to one lot of adult dose EpiPens and one lot of the child dose EpiPens.
Specifically here is Canada the lots affected are:
- 3 mg strength of EpiPen Auto-Injector expiring in May 2017 – Lot (5GU763)
- 0.15 mg strength of EpiPen Jr Auto-Injector expiring in March 2017 – Lot (5GR765)
These recalled products were distributed between January and March 2016.

Pfizer Canada announced that they are “committed to replacing recalled devices at no cost.”
Remember to keep your existing EpiPen until a replacement product can be provided! Do not discard your EpiPen and leave yourself at risk.
